Dendrolobium umbellatum, commonly known as the Butterfly Pea Tree or White Butterfly Bush, is a resilient and fast-growing shrub or small tree ideal for coastal plantations, erosion control, and ornamental landscaping. Native to tropical Asia and the Pacific Islands, it is highly valued for its glossy green leaves, bright white flowers, and strong adaptability to sandy, saline, and degraded soils.
